November’s ride is an homage to “Old Hollywood” and our route will take us through some of the historic districts of Fremont, including Niles, the “Original Hollywood” where Charlie Chaplin and other silent movie stars made films. Check out the lookbook for inspiration and come dressed as your favorite star from The Silent Era to The Golden Age of Hollywood.

hair– short bobs, accessories (hats, clips, etc)

makeup– red/pink lipstick, arched eyebrows, brown/black eye liner
clothing– silhouettes- clinch at waist! Evening gowns with classic jewelry (pearls & diamonds), pillbox hats, long opera gloves, large glasses, fur
Hair- short, gelled back
Clothing– Crisp suit and tie v. disheveled Chaplin suit
Accessories- beribboned straw boater and circular specs
Hair– short, gelled and parted, under a hat – vs. James Dean styled back
Clothing– subdued colors, fedoras,suits
BRING LIGHTS, **LAYERS**, LOCKS, WATER, SNACKS, AND FUN!
Remember, this is a group ride, not a race, we are riding with a lot of people, so be respectful and ride predictably! Yes, that means the golden rule apples here: If you wouldn’t want a car, bike or pedestrian to do it to you, don’t do it yourself.
This month we are meeting at Fremont BART station. Route will be posted Thursday.
